Zangdokpalri is the changeless visionary abode of the eighth century Indian tantric master Padmasambava (Guru Rinpoche), who subdued demonic forces and established the practice of Buddhism in Tibet, promising that in the future he would reappear in the form of tertons and revitalize Buddhism for the benefit of all beings.
